Either Will Folks is right or crazy

No one wants to criticize "Darling Nikki" right now and it sure as Hell is not popular to think that Will Folks is right on anything. But, frankly, we at VUI are starting to believe Will Folks. The man has ruined his political career in SC with his remarks about an alleged affair with Nikki Haley. Now, with his sworn statement, he has opened himself to perjury charges. Haley's lame response makes us wonder all the more.

Let's be clear. IF Haley and Folks got it on in an SUV in a parking lot, so be it. That is between them and Haley's husband. But, If Folks is right and Haley is lying, good grief, South Carolina has just been through that kind of nonsense.

As Editor of VUI, I will note something that have so far hesitated to mention. I knew the rumors. I was actually out in the bars in Columbia back in 2007 and saw Folks and Haley together. I thought she was divorced and that they were dating. I had no idea that she was still married when I told one so called RINO legislator that I thought Folks was dating Haley from what I saw with my own eyes one night. The remark I gave was along the line of " I think he's dating her, no wonder he supports her on his blog."

And, I guess that is what bugs me most about Nikki Haley. People saw things. I saw things. To just make like those times did not happen is an insult to people with eyes and brains. Then, for Haley's minions to attack Jim DeMint this week, well, that just took the political cake for me.

It makes one thank God that South Carolina is ran by the General Assembly and not by the Governor. Hey, I guess the good news is the new Governor won't have to travel to South America to get her kicks, right?

I'm convinced he's telling the truth. To swear an affidavit that impugns someone's character to that degree would be 100% eligible for a lawsuit if not true. It would be the very essence of slander. She hardly even responds... it scares her. Funny how all kinds of politicians get in trouble for something like this, yet a self-professed family values candidate gets a free pass in this state because people would rather close their eyes to the truth than elect a Democrat. She's a liar, a tax cheat, and in the pocket of several special interests. I'm amazed, if not incredulous, at the support she has.

  3. It is sad to think that South Carolina has become a Yellow Dog Republican State. The Republicans are starting to take votes for granted, well they have made a mistake this time. I am voting for a Democrat, because at least he can be trusted. What has the World come to. If you can't hold your nose and vote for a democrat at least write-in a Republican you like, or just leave it blank. I use to remember when Republicans would say character matters, they can't say it and mean it this year in the SC race for governor.

  4. Who the fuck cares what this serial lier Will Folks says?? If a dozen and next a hundred men said that they had affair with your sister, would you ask your sister to keep providing affidavits??

It is best to ignore barking stray dogs.

  5. I was at Saludas Restaurant in August and saw Haley with a guy,not her husband. So obvious. How do you act like the loose woman an lie to our faces?

  6. So any woman who has dinner in a restaurant with a man other than her husband must be having an affair? How about the guy who wasn't her husband was he having an affair too? Let's say Vincent Sheheen had dinner in a restaurant with a client from his law firm who happens to be a woman? Is he having an affair? Oh no, he's not but the woman probably is.

I for one don't believe a thing Will Folks says. He has drug this entire ordeal out month after month and for what. He is married and has a child...is he sadistic? Does he hate Nikki Haley and her husband and children so much that he really enjoys this? But even in the event it is true (which again I don't believe) what does he have to gain from this? Who is paying him? It certainly increased the hits on his blog but I can't believe even that is worth destroying 2 families.

    What a jerk!

  7. There's a fine line between right and wrong, but then again, most politicians cross it so much that it's almost not really a line.

IF the affair happened, which it likely did, then we can cross that bridge when we come to it. There is still an election to deal with. JMO, but if a lustful woman or a political puppet are our choices, we are screwed either way.

  9. What in the world is wrong with a lustful woman as Governor? I know for a fact the state has had lustful men as governors and some have been pretty good. We had a lustful woman as Lt. Governor once and she was pretty good. The state might benefit from a young, sensual, good looking woman as Governor. Hell, Catherine the Great of Russia and Elizabeth I of England were very effective. We all need to keep an open mind on this lust issue.

  10. Haley is a opportunist who is a joke. She is lazy, inept and dishonest. But, hey...she is not in Obama' party, I better vote for her and make our country and state safe for Sarah Palin.

  11. Palin-Haley, the ticket that is the porn movie old white men want to see plays the White House. Bristol is a guest star.

  12. Haley gives Christians a bad name. Why wouldn't she sue? You fight to protect your good name, unless it's not so good. Another scum bag politician, the dem. will get my vote, enough is enough.

  13. Because Haley won't buy into the Folks / Marchant Scandel that makes her Christianity questionable? What good would it possibly do to start a law suit in the middle of a Statewide campaign for Governor? Who has time for that...I am sure they will all get sued when the election is over and Haley is Governor. Of course I'm sure Folks book will be out by February. He will be doing the Jenny Sanford Book tour although I don't see Oprah or Dr. Phil giving him a ring. Something about his and Marchants story smells. Folks has to be getting paid a pretty penny for this or he hates his family, not really sure which it is. As for Marchant, he is just hoping someone will believe it could have happened.
